Kim Bot, the secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Plateau State, who was abducted on Wednesday by criminals, has been set free.
According to information provided to the media, Bot, who was kidnapped on Wednesday night near the Lamingo Road Junction in the state’s Jos North Local Government Area, was freed on Thursday night.
Additionally, family members confirmed the pharmacist’s release to media in Jos on Friday.
‘To God’s glory, pharmacist Kim Bot has been freed. He is currently receiving medical care in a Jos hospital. We are really grateful to God for preserving his life and to the security personnel for their efforts in securing his release’.
The family member added that despite the thieves’ initial demand for an undisclosed sum of money in ransom, “he was unconditionally released.”
