Former Big Brother Naija housemate Daniella Peters narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Abuja. In a post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, the reality star expressed gratitude for the swift public response to her SOS call last Friday. Daniella recounted how she became suspicious of the cab driver’s movements during a trip and requested him to stop, but he refused, forcing her to jump out of the moving vehicle and sustain injuries.
Daniella has reported the incident to the police, who have confirmed that the driver admitted to her claims. She thanked the authorities for their prompt and thorough handling of the situation. “I want to thank everyone who has shown concern by commenting, calling, and tagging the necessary organizations to ensure that this matter was handled urgently,” she said.
The BBNaija star assured her followers that she is now safe and recovering from her injuries. “I have been to the police station and back to the hospital. The cab driver has confessed to everything I said. I’m now safe and recovering. God bless you all. Be safe,” Daniella added.
