Nigerian musician, Bella Shmurda, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share a cryptic message following the recent statement made by his controversial colleague, Naira Marley. Naira Marley had denied any involvement in the death of their former signee, Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, Naira Marley expressed shock over Mohbad’s passing and refuted any direct or indirect connection to the tragedy. He acknowledged having disagreements with Mohbad during their time working together but emphasized that it never escalated to the extent of wishing harm upon each other.
Naira Marley revealed that he has been out of the country since August 31 but intends to return as he has been invited by the police to assist in their ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death. He pledged full cooperation with the police in uncovering the truth surrounding the incident.
Furthermore, Naira Marley debunked allegations of being a drug lord and clarified that his record label is not involved in any drug cartel activities. He strongly denied ever having conflicts with Mohbad or instructing anyone to harass the singer since he left the record label in September 2022.
Shortly after Naira Marley’s statement, Bella Shmurda posted a suggestive message on X, saying, “Sha lo report ara eh!!!,” implying that someone should take responsibility or come forward with the truth.
