President Bola Tinubu has paid tributes to Dr. David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Presiding Bishop of Faith Tabernacle, in celebration pf his 70th birthday on Friday, September 27.
In the message titled “President Tinubu Hails Bishop Oyedepo at 70”, the President congratulated the entire Christian Community, members of Winner’s Chapel both at home and abroad, and the family of the dynamic and visionary leader on this significant milestone.

Tinubu praised Oyedepo for his lasting contributions to raising leaders in various sectors, inspired by biblical wisdom. He also commended the church’s widespread influence, particularly through its educational and healthcare initiatives, which have positively impacted millions.

The President acknowledged Oyedepo’s role in spreading the Word of Faith, which he credited with sparking entrepreneurial growth and encouraging progress in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.

He further emphasized that Bishop Oyedepo’s teaching, publications, and missionary work have brought honour to the nation and benefited both private and public sector leaders.
Tinubu extended his best wishes to Bishop Oyedepo, his wife Faith Abiola, and their family, both biological and spiritual, praying for continued success in the ministry.

“The President believes Bishop Oyedepo has consistently brought glory to the country with his teachings, publications, and World-Wide Missionary service and sought the betterment of the people by counselling leaders in the private and public sectors.
“President Tinubu shares the joy of celebrations with the Presiding Bishop, his wife, Faith Abiola, and all the biological and spiritual children. He prays to God for greater heights in the ministry,” the tribute read in part.

He also asked for God’s blessings on the Bishop’s physical, mental, and spiritual health as he continues to serve the country and humanity.
