Elder statesman and former PDP leader, Bode George, has called the ruling APC a “one-man show” with no real political structure. He made this strong statement during a live interview on Channels TV, while talking about the possibility of a new political party rising before the 2027 elections.
Bode George said Nigeria needs leaders who care about the people, not just themselves. He warned that personal ambition can destroy good governance and that politicians should focus on managing the country’s resources for the benefit of all, not just a few.

He also spoke about the problems in the PDP, comparing the party’s internal crisis to a sore that has now become like cancer. But he believes the party can still fix its issues during its next big meeting, where leaders will work to bring unity back to the party.
