Boko Haram Attack: Church and Homes Burned in Chibok

Boko Haram terrorists attacked Bamzir village in Chibok Local Government Area, Borno State, early Sunday morning, burning the EYN LCC church auditorium and several homes. The assailants, striking around 2:10 a.m., also killed two brothers, Josiah and Enoch Pogu Pudza, and injured a woman, Esther Yohanna.

The terrorists looted food supplies and livestock during the attack, further devastating the community. The local government chairman, Mustapha Madu, confirmed the incident, inspected the destruction, and attended the burial of the two victims while offering condolences to the bereaved families.

In a related development, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun condemned a separate attack on Nganzai Divisional Police Headquarters. The police chief commended officers for their bravery and directed intensified efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of both heinous acts.
