Burna Boy and J Hus Set to Thrill Fans at Afro Nation Nigeria

Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy, has been announced as one of the headliners for the inaugural Afro Nation event in Nigeria, according to organizers’ announcement on September 26, 2023.

Burna Boy, who previously headlined the 2023 Afro Nation event in Miami, is set to bring his captivating stage presence to his home country. His deep-rooted ties to Nigeria make his homecoming performance a highly anticipated highlight of this historic event.

Joining Burna Boy as a headliner is the Gambian-British rapper, J Hus, renowned as one of the UK’s leading Hip Hop artists. This marks his return to the global festival brand since his debut in Portugal in 2019.

The first lineup of performers also includes Highlife sensation Flavour, the award-winning street sensation Seyi Vibez, and the emerging Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif.

Afro Nation has plans to unveil more acts as part of their lineup in the lead-up to this landmark event.

Afro Nation has been instrumental in taking African music and art to international stages, with previous editions held in Portugal, the UK, various cities in the United States, and Ghana.

The debut Lagos edition signifies Nigeria’s inclusion alongside Ghana as one of the African destinations for the festival. Afro Nation’s stage has seen performances by prominent international artists, including Usher and Chris Brown.

Scheduled for December 19 and 20 in Nigeria, this show promises to be a historic celebration of culture, music, and unity, set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos, the dynamic cultural hub of West Africa.
