In Makurdi, Beñue State, passerby discovered a mutilated body of a young guy in a waste dump on Sunday morning.
His hands were tied behind his back, and there were clear traces of violence from a probable cult struggle.
Reporters learned that the young man’s body had yet to be identified.
The victim, who is thought to be between 20 and 25 years old and black in appearance, was discovered with one ear removed.
The event occurred near Iorpuu Adai Street, Nyiman Layout, and the HUDCO quarters in Makurdi.
His body was discovered by folks on their way to church early Sunday morning.
When contacted by the Benue State Police Command spokesman, SP Catherine Anene, she stated that they had not yet been told about the event.
