On Sunday, gunmen abducted a Catholic Reverend Father, Christian Ike, alongside a parishioner, Ogbonnia Aneke in Anambra State.
The Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia in Anambra State revealed that Fr. Ike and Ogbonnia were kidnapped while returning from Mass in an outstation of St. Matthew’s Parish, Ajalli, Orumba north of the state.
The church implored members to pray for the safe return of the Catholic priest and the other man kidnapped.
