In an Instagram post shortly after his arraignment, Okechukwu declared, “Seeing all your messages and love. I’m so humbled. Now it’s confirmed CP (Cubana Priest) is not small. The charges against Cubana Chief Priest include allegations of spraying and tampering with the nation’s currency at a social event, in violation of the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007. It was reported that he allegedly sprayed the naira at Eko Hotel on February 13, 2024, during a social gathering, and also tampered with funds in the denomination of N500 notes issued by the CBN.
