Delta State: Planned Power Outage

The Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) has announced a scheduled eight-day blackout in Warri and Effurun, affecting the Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas of Delta State. The power outage is set to begin on Monday, December 4, and last until Monday, December 11, 2023.

In a statement issued by BEDC, Warri Region, the blackout is necessary for the electricity distribution company to conduct a major repair on its panel circuit breakers at Okoloba. The affected areas include PTI, Airport Road, Sapele Road, Effurun, and Warri environs.

The statement emphasized the commitment of BEDC to providing improved services and urged customers to bear with the inconvenience during the stipulated period of repair.

This planned power outage follows a recent blackout in the Warri and Effurun metropolis, and the BEDC assures customers that the maintenance work is essential for the enhancement of the electricity distribution system.
