Timi Frank, former deputy national publicity secretary of the APC, has declared that no opposition, including from Bode George, can prevent Atiku Abubakar from becoming Nigeria’s president if it is divinely ordained. Responding to George’s suggestion that Atiku should defer his presidential ambitions until 2031,
Frank dismissed it as overreach and self-deception. He emphasized that no human, including George, who has his own controversial history, can play the role of God in determining Nigeria’s leadership.
Frank further questioned George’s past criticisms and his unfulfilled promise to renounce Nigerian citizenship if Bola Tinubu became president. He highlighted George’s previous lack of support for Atiku, noting that despite this, Atiku has consistently secured the PDP’s nomination. Frank concluded that if it is God’s will for Atiku to lead the nation in 2027, no amount of resistance could alter that divine plan.
