Diane Russet, a former Big Brother Naija star, actress, and filmmaker, recently shared a significant setback she faced in her filmmaking journey.
During an interview on Hip TV’s Trending show hosted by Kim Oprah, Diane disclosed how she lost the file of one of her movie projects, leading to the need for reshoots and almost causing her to quit the industry.
The incident had a substantial impact on Diane, and she initially decided to quit filmmaking, stating, “This is my last production. I am done.”
However, Diane’s colleagues in the industry offered her encouragement and support, urging her to persevere even in the face of adversity.
Diane also revealed that she had believed she needed to attend film school to acquire the necessary skills for filmmaking. However, her industry friends advised her that she could learn on the job, and she has been doing so while keeping the aspiration to attend film school in the future.
