Popular Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has revealed that he was offered ₦200 million to stop speaking against President Tinubu’s government. In a video posted on social media, Eedris said a politician called him and claimed that his song “Tell Your Papa” was making Tinubu and his son, Seyi, very uncomfortable.
According to Abdulkareem , the politician told him not to listen to the government because they planned to bribe him. Instead, the caller offered to secretly sponsor him with ₦200 million. Eedris said he quickly realized the man was sent to distract him and refused the money.

He said clearly in the video, “I don’t need your money. You said you want to give me ₦200 million? Go and sit down. I know you were sent. I’m not interested.” Abdulkareem insisted he would continue to speak the truth, no matter the pressure.
