The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev Dr. Yakubu Pam, delivered a message on Wednesday, urging Muslims to draw inspiration from the exemplary qualities of Prophet Muhammad as they commemorate Eid-el-Maulud.
In a statement issued by Celestine Toruka, the spokesperson for NCPC, Rev Dr. Yakubu Pam encouraged Muslims to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing the importance of fostering inter-faith harmony and understanding when engaging with people of different faiths.
Furthermore, he called upon Muslim leaders within the country to educate their followers on the correct doctrines that promote responsible living, thereby enabling them to make positive contributions to society.
Rev Dr. Pam also acknowledged the multitude of challenges confronting Nigeria, both economically and otherwise. He appealed to the Muslim community to include the nation and its leaders in their prayers, seeking divine intervention and mercy from God.
Additionally, he expressed his support for the nascent administration of President Bola Tinubu, urging Muslims to offer their prayers for the success of Mr. President and his dedicated team, who are tirelessly working towards delivering the benefits of democracy to the Nigerian populace.
