Unknown gunmen are suspected of shooting and killing a middle-aged okada man at the Okesa Roundabout in Ado Ekiti.
The man was allegedly shot at by unidentified attackers who arrived on another motorcycle. He was one among those controlling commercial okada riders at Okesa Roundabout
Witnesses claimed that after committing the murders, the perpetrators ran away.
The individual was identified as one of the association’s employees by Mr. Kunle Asaolu, the chairman of the Okada Riders Association in Ekiti State, upon being contacted.
The attack was also verified by DSP Sunday Abutu, the spokesperson for the Ekiti State Police Command, who stated that an inquiry has been launched.
