The Three Lions, England, missed the opportunity to secure back-to-back wins after a 1-1 draw with Denmark.
England failed to capitalize on their chance to top Group C in the 2024 European Championship following a disappointing draw with Denmark.

Through captain Harry Kane, the tournament favourites took the lead but Denmark’s Morten Hjulmand equalized with a stunning long-range goal past Jordan Pickford.
England began the match strongly, with Kane scoring an easy tap-in after Kyle Walker dispossessed Victor Kristiansen and delivered a cross that deflected to the captain.

Denmark hit back before half-time with a thunderous shot from Hjulmand that hit the post on its way in from more than 30 yards out to bring the Danes back into the game, leveling the match.
Both teams went into the break tied and seemed content with the result, as neither made significant advances in the second half.

Despite Phil Foden hitting the post, neither side was able to add to the scoreline as they settled for a 1-1 draw.
Southgate’s dissatisfaction with his team’s lackluster attack led him to substitute the entire front three of Foden, Kane, and Bukayo Saka, but replacements Eberechi Eze, Ollie Watkins, and Jarrod Bowen couldn’t penetrate Denmark’s resilient defense.
