A bridge located along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway between New Artsisan and Naira Triangle in Enugu State has reportedly collapsed. This information was made public by the Head of Media in the Office of the Enugu State Governor, Dan Nwomeh, through his social media handle on Monday.
While Nwomeh did not provide details regarding any potential casualties resulting from the bridge collapse, he issued a warning to motorists, urging them to steer clear of the affected route. He also noted that both federal and state officials were present at the
scene, actively working to address and manage the situation.
In his statement, Nwomeh stated, “A bridge has collapsed in Enugu along the Enugu – Port Harcourt expressway between New Artsisan and Naira Triangle. Motorists should please avoid that route. Federal and State officials are already at the scene.”
