Ex-Nigerian lawmaker invites Turkish investors to explore Nigeria’s opportunities

Former Member of the House of Representatives, Shina Peller, delivered a compelling message to Turkish entrepreneurs and investors, encouraging them to explore Nigeria’s burgeoning market for exceptional Return on Investment (ROI).

Speaking at the 2023 Mindshift Empowerment and Employment Initiative in Turkey, Peller emphasized the numerous opportunities that Nigeria offers. He stated that Nigeria is home to some of the world’s most creative minds, both within the continent and in the diaspora.

Nigeria’s rich diversity, with over 250 ethnic groups and local languages, represents significant economic and cultural potential across the African continent, according to Peller. He described Nigeria as the gateway to Africa’s world of creativity and its entrepreneurs as vibrant, innovative, and adept problem-solvers.

Peller highlighted the advantages for Turkish investors seeking to engage with Nigeria. He pointed out that Nigeria’s youthful population and growing middle class provide a substantial consumer base for businesses to flourish. Additionally, he noted that the country boasts abundant natural resources, including oil, gas, and agriculture, offering substantial investment potential.

The former lawmaker also emphasized that Nigeria’s diversity extends beyond its rich cultural heritage, encompassing its economic and entrepreneurial attributes. He informed Turkish entrepreneurs that their Nigerian counterparts not only promote job creation and wealth distribution but also actively contribute to solutions for the continent’s most pressing issues, including healthcare, education, agriculture, and technology.

Peller’s call for Turkish entrepreneurs and investors to participate in Nigeria’s dynamic market reflects a growing interest in the country’s economic potential and the broader African market.
