Nigerian singer and rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has shared how he once lived a “double life” as a lawyer by day and rapper by night. Speaking on the Madam Joyce Podcast, Falz revealed the challenges of juggling his passion for music with the demands of practicing law.
Falz recounted a memorable court experience where a judge questioned his dual roles, saying, “Counsel, are you not the one doing something else on the side?” He explained that legal practice discourages lawyers from engaging in outside activities, making it difficult to maintain both careers simultaneously.
