Nigerian cleric Femi Lazarus has explained why he charges $150 for his school of ministry after being called out by singer Timi Dakolo.
Dakolo had earlier criticized high charges by gospel musicians, which led to a debate over Lazarus’ own fees. Responding to a netizen’s question, Lazarus clarified that his ministry school is like any other educational institution, stating, “Yes o, it is a school.”

His response has sparked discussions on whether religious training should come with a price tag.
