Focus on Governance, Not Distraction—Presidency Warns Opponents

The Presidency has urged political opponents of President Bola Tinubu to wait until the 2027 elections rather than create unnecessary tension. Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, criticized those who tried to exploit the President’s trip to Tanzania to spread false narratives.

Dare stated that Tinubu remains committed to national progress and will not be distracted by political noise. He emphasized that while some are busy stirring controversy, the President is focused on economic growth and improving the lives of Nigerians. He urged citizens to distinguish between political showmanship and true leadership, noting that the real test would come at the polls.

Reaffirming Tinubu’s dedication to governance, Dare assured that the President remains undeterred. “This is 2025, not 2027—those eager to challenge his leadership should wait for the right time. Until then, President Tinubu is fully focused on building a stronger Nigeria,” he said.
