Former senator, kunlere abandons PDP

Senator Boluwaji Kunlere, who represented Ondo South Senatorial District from 2011 to 2015, has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on which he ran for National Assembly.

Kunlere’s resignation is stated in a letter signed by him and submitted to the party chairman in Igbotako Ward 2, Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area.
The letter was made accessible to newsmen on Thursday in Okitipupa.

“I hereby tender my letter of resignation from the PDP, effective January 24.”

“I truly appreciate your cooperation and support during my membership in the party. Thank you, and God bless.

“I will decide who to vote for after the primaries, by God’s grace. For now, I have not initiated any discussion with any political party,” the letter stated.
