Nigerian gospel singer, Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, has opened up about his recent period of silence in the music industry. He revealed that he lost his singing ability after ministering in a ‘strange’ church. However, his encounter with Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre brought about a miraculous intervention from God.
Frank Edwards shared, “As a gospel singer, we receive numerous invitations. Sometimes, in our excitement, we don’t consider the places we are going to. Although I won’t mention the Church’s name, they invited me to sing, and after that event, I lost my singing ability. My musical career was declining.”
“People reached out to ask about my situation, and I would just say I’m working on an album. One day, Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche contacted me with the same concern, and I opened up to him. He advised me that not every place is suitable for us, and we need to be prayerful before accepting invitations. He prayed for my restoration that day.”
“After that encounter, the very next day, it felt like a new chapter was opened in my life. I could reconnect with my musical abilities in a better version. Since then, every area of my life has experienced an overflow.”
