The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce a range of exciting new undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A total of 23 undergraduate and 21 postgraduate programs have been approved, set to commence from the 2023/2024 academic session.
Habibu Umar Aminu, the Coordinator of the Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol (DPRP) at FUDMA, stated that the approval was granted following a thorough assessment by a panel of experts from NUC, who evaluated the university’s available resources for establishing these programs.
The newly approved undergraduate programs include B.Sc Mass Communication, LL.B Law, B.Eng. Mechatronics Engineering, B.Sc International Relations and Diplomacy, B.URP Urban and Regional Planning, B.Sc Applied Geophysics, B.Tech. Entrepreneurship, B. Tech. Textile Design Technology, among others.
With these additions, FUDMA now offers a diverse selection of over 80 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, further expanding the educational opportunities available at the university.
