In preparation for the upcoming governorship election scheduled for November, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has arrived in Bayelsa State ahead of the official inauguration of the party’s campaign council.
Upon his arrival in Bayelsa on Friday, Ganduje was warmly received by key party figures, including the APC’s governorship candidate in the state, Chief Timipre Sylva, his running mate, Great Joshua Maciver, and other prominent members of the party.
It’s worth noting that earlier this month, Ganduje also presided over the inauguration of the party’s campaign council for the upcoming governorship election in Imo State. During that event, he appealed to the people of Imo State to support the reelection bid of Governor Hope Uzodinma, emphasizing the significance of President Bola Tinubu’s selection of Sen. Bassey Otu, the Governor of Cross River, to lead the campaign council.
