Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has stepped in to seek mercy for Segun Olowookere, sentenced to death for stealing a fowl. This follows a public appeal by Segun’s mother, Folashade Olowookere, in a viral interview with actress Biola Adebayo.
Governor Adeleke instructed the Attorney General to expedite an investigation and include Segun in the prerogative of mercy list before year-end. He emphasized fairness and justice, stating that Osun remains committed to protecting lives and ensuring equity.
