Iyanuoluwa Adamolekun, 62, was brutally killed by attackers in her Similoluwa neighborhood in Agbaluku Arigidi Akoko, Ondo state.

Reporters learned that her granddaughter had found her dead body in her home after she had returned from school.
It is reported that the grand daughter discovered her grandmother in a bloody pool and alerted authorities.
Neighbors heard her alarm and hurried to the area to witness the graphic scene.
There was still mystery surrounding her murder to be solved.
The deceased’s son, Rotimi Adamolekun, expressed amazement and questioned who could have done such a horrible thing to his mother while speaking with newsmen.
The body, meanwhile, had been placed in the morgue of the general hospital.
When contacted, Funmi Odunlami, the state police spokeswoman, stated that an inquiry had started.
Odunlami gave the public the assurance that police investigators would quickly solve the enigma surrounding the elderly woman’s murder.
But she added that no suspect had yet been taken into custody by police detectives.
She said that the killers “would soon be arrested and charged to court.”
