Ghanaian media personality Afua Asantewaa Aduonum is gearing up to establish a new Guinness World Record with her upcoming Sing-A-Thon, aiming for the longest singing duration.
Afua shared on her Instagram page a screenshot of the response she received from the Guinness World Record management, confirming her endeavor.
Her ambitious plan involves singing Ghanaian songs continuously for an impressive 117 hours, with a unique twist of not repeating any songs until after the fourth-hour break.
Afua Aduonum’s primary motivation behind this record-setting initiative is to showcase and promote Ghanaian songs on a global scale.
She also revealed her intent to surpass the existing world record of 102 hours for the longest singing marathon by an individual.
