BBNaija Phyna, has regretted being judged and chastised for having an abortion several years ago, and has expressed remorse for having done so.
It should be noted that the reality actress previously came out about her abortion and was highly chastised for it, as well as her thoughts on the subject.
In a recent podcast with Doyin, Phyna stated that having the abortion is not something she is proud of and that if she takes in another child, she will keep the child.
Phyna went on to say that the media manipulated her popular statement about every woman having an abortion to fit their narrative.
Phyna, who confessed that she had an abortion when she was around 20 years old, stated that the pregnancy was a mistake and that she didn’t want it to impact her future.
She stated:
“I didn’t want to talk about it [abortion] any longer because it’s clear that a lot of bloggers try to twist my words to their liking.” This happened a long time ago, when I was much younger, around 20 years old, and I knew I wanted to be someone in life.
“It’s not something I’m proud of, and nobody should be, but it happened when I was younger.” I was aware of what I had gone through. Nobody understood what I went through; I’m not proud of it, but let’s call a spade a spade.”
