Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding his alleged involvement with the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, Queen Dami.
Recent reports had suggested that Portable, who recently got married to an actress, was in a relationship with the former Alaafin’s wife, Queen Dami. Controversial blogger Gist Lover had even shared screenshots of their interactions, where they exchanged endearing words and used love emojis.
In a recent interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Portable hinted at having a connection with Queen Dami but denied being the father of her child. He clarified that Queen Dami was his fan from the beginning and that their relationship changed after the Alaafin’s passing. He emphasized that he would not pursue affairs with married women and stated, “If the King wasn’t dead, you wouldn’t see me with her.”
It’s worth noting that Queen Dami had openly expressed her love for Portable on her Instagram story, sharing a video of herself dancing to his music and tagging him.
Portable is a father of five children from four different women, including his wife and three other baby mamas. He is married to Bewaji Zainab Badmus and shares a son with upcoming actress Ashabi, as well as two other children with different baby mamas.
