Kevin De Bruyne was substituted at half-time during Manchester City’s UEFA Championships League match against Milan after picking up an injury.
The City Midfielder appeared to struggle toward the end of the first-half and was replaced by Phil Foden at the break.

De Bruyne, who has dealt with several muscle injuries throughout the years, was also forced during last year’s Champions League final against Inter and missed a significant portion of the previous season as well due to similar issues.

After the game, City manager Pep Guardiola admitted that he was unsure about the extent of De Bruyne’s latest setback. “I didn’t speak with the doctors yet. I will have more info tomorrow,” Guardiola said.

“The way Inter defended, I was thinking after 35 minutes that I wanted to make this substitution.
“After the doctor said to me that Kevin was not ready to play but I was ready to make this substitution anyway.”
While City fans will be hoping their key playmaker is fit for the upcoming clash against Arsenal, Foden’s energetic display off the bench will be a source of encouragement for both supporters and the manager.
