Business operations in Osun State came to a standstill on Tuesday morning as local commercial drivers ceased their activities.
The drivers took to the streets of Osogbo, the state capital, in order to prevent their fellow members from picking up passengers.
The protest, which began at 8 am at the well-known Olaiya junction, seems to be a response to the recent rise in fuel prices, which have surged from N500 to N617.
