Human rights activist Jake Epelle has criticized President Bola Tinubu and Minister Nyesom Wike over their actions, accusing them of destabilizing Rivers State. Speaking on Arise Television, Epelle expressed frustration with the ongoing political situation and condemned those asking Governor Sim Fubara to apologize to Wike.

Epelle described the appointment of Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, as a violation of his mandate, calling his actions “animated” and “dramatic.” He demanded an end to the political chaos, urging the government to restore peace by supporting the elected leadership of Governor Fubara.
