In front of nearly 70,000 fans at AT&T Stadium, Jake Paul defeated 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in a highly publicized eight-round bout, streamed live by Netflix.
The unexpected match-up saw the 27-year-old social media star take on the former heavyweight champion in what many called a surreal showdown.
Paul entered the fight as the favourite, but both boxers stand to gain significant paychecks. Paul is reportedly set to earn $40 million, while Tyson will take home $20 million.
The fight marked Tyson’s first professional bout since 2005, with his career record now standing at 50-7.
