Joe Igbokwe – Tinubu Will Lead Until 2031

APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has declared that President Bola Tinubu is destined to remain in power until 2031. Writing on Facebook, Igbokwe urged opposition candidates to abandon hopes of contesting the presidency in 2027, emphasizing that Tinubu needs two full terms to solidify his vision for Nigeria.

Tinubu, who won the 2023 presidential election, is expected to seek re-election in 2027 for a second term. Igbokwe also defended former President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacy, stating that Buhari laid the groundwork for Tinubu’s administration and dismissing claims that he was a failure.

This comes as Babafemi Ojudu, a former presidential adviser, criticized Buhari’s leadership, citing a lack of vision but acknowledging his patriotism and incorruptibility. Igbokwe countered by urging Nigerians to recognize Buhari’s contributions, which he believes are evident in the progress being made under Tinubu’s leadership.
