Super Eagles icon Joseph Yobo has encouraged Victor Osimhen to consider joining Manchester United, emphasizing that the Galatasaray striker would be a perfect fit for the Premier League giants.
Reports suggest that Manchester United are actively seeking reinforcements, with Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee potentially leaving the club during the January transfer window. The Red devils reportedly made an offer to Napoli, Osimhen’s parent club, for a permanent move, and the Italian side is said to have responded positively.

However, as reported by Findwhosabi, the 26-year-old Nigerian forward has expressed a desire to complete his season-long loan with Galatasaray, reportedly telling Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, to revisit the offer in May if it still stands.

In an interview with Africafoot, Yobo, a former Premier League player with Everton, urged Osimhen to seize the opportunity, describing it as an ideal career move.
“For me, it’s a no-brainer,” Yobo said. “Victor and Manchester United are a perfect fit, and there’s no doubt he would thrive if they signed him.

“Even though they’re struggling in the transition, Manchester United are still among the top three clubs in the world, and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
“If you ask me, I’ll be honest with you: Victor [Osimhen] should take the offer if it comes. Their project is exciting with a new coach in [Ruben] Amorim, who is one of the best of his generation.

“If Amorim wants to trust Victor to be one of the leaders of this project in transition, yes, I think he shouldn’t think twice; he should take it.”
