The Ogun State Police Command has reported that the missing 200-level student of Animal Breeding and Genetics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Solomon Destiny, has been found alive and is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital. The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed this development.
Solomon Destiny had gone missing, raising concerns among the university community and prompting the Students’ Union Government to seek assistance in locating him. He was last seen at Ogboja village around the Oluwo-Osiele axis of Abeokuta.
The university’s Head of Directorate of Public Relations, Mr. Kola Adepoju, confirmed the incident and stated that the university management had reported the matter to relevant security agencies. While confirming the good news of Solomon Destiny’s discovery, Adepoju indicated that additional information was still limited.
The discovery of the missing student alive brings relief to his family, colleagues, and the university community, who had been concerned about his welfare during his disappearance.
