Renowned Nigerian producer, Solomon Oyeniyi, popularly known as K-Solo, revealed on Monday that the body of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, is set to be exhumed today (Tuesday).
K-Solo shared that Mohbad’s father has given permission for the police to carry out the exhumation. According to K-Solo, there was an agreement between Mohbad’s father and the police to proceed with the exhumation, either late on Monday night or early on Tuesday morning.
During an interview on Channels TV’s ‘Rubbin’ Minds,’ K-Solo made a startling claim that Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records, was linked to Mohbad’s death. He asserted, “Naira Marley is involved. He cannot tell me he is not involved. He has a hand in his death.” K-Solo argued that Naira Marley couldn’t deny his involvement, especially considering that Mohbad was under his label and allegedly facing mistreatment without intervention.
K-Solo called on Naira Marley to return to the country and clear his name, citing evidence pointing to his alleged involvement.
In a related development, the police established a dedicated 13-member investigative team on Monday to probe Mohbad’s death. Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, emphasized their exclusive access to INTERPOL and stated, “Every individual connected to the case involving the death of Mohbad will be identified and thoroughly assessed for their level of involvement.”
