Paris Saint Germain has officially announced the signing of Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The 23-year-old winger will proudly wear the iconic No. 7 jersey, becoming the first Georgian to don the number for the French giants.
Kvaratskhelia initially joined Serie A side Napoli in July of 2022, where he quickly established himself as a key player under Luciano Spalleti.

In his debut season, he played a pivotal role in ending Napoli’s 33-year wait for the Serie A title, earning accolades such as Serie A Player of the Month in August 2022 and finishing as the League’s Best Player and Best Assister.

His stellar performances extend beyond domestic football, as he was named the Best Young Player in the UEFA Champions League and achieved a commendable 17th-place finish in the Ballon d’Or rankings.

Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi expressed his excitement about the signing, “We are delighted to welcome Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to the Paris Saint-Germain family.
“Khvicha is one of the most exciting players in world football – a fantastic talent, but also a player who has courage and fights for the team above all else.”

Kvaratskhelia’s departure from Napoli marks the end of his partnership with Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.
