In a video clip that has gone viral, the 48-year-old rapper is seen being escorted out of the plaza in handcuffs by police officers, expressing disbelief at the situation.
The incident occurred after Killer Mike’s impressive three-time win at the Grammy Awards, where he secured honors for Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance for “Scientists & Engineers,” and Best Rap Album. The arrests were made just after 4 pm at the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the arrest and stated that Killer Mike, identified as 48-year-old Michael Render, was booked for Misdemeanour Battery (243(A) PC). He is in the process of being released. The rapper’s wins at the Grammys marked a significant achievement in his career.
