A top Niger State APC leader, Jonathan Vatsa, has cautioned Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo over his political moves against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. He warned that these actions are only making her more popular among her constituents and Nigerians.
Vatsa, a former Commissioner for Information, stated in a Facebook post that attempts to weaken Natasha have backfired. He advised Ododo to tread carefully, saying any attempt to arrest her could trigger strong reactions from her supporters. He also noted that the political drama surrounding her is embarrassing the Senate.
Kogi State Governor further warned that efforts to recall the senator would damage the political system. Calling for peace, Vatsa urged politicians to stop opposing women in politics, emphasizing that Natasha is already ahead of her rivals.
