Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, has condemned the organizers of the EndBadGovernance protests, accusing them of attempting to undermine the government of President Bola Tinubu. Kwankwaso described the protesters as “enemies of the country” with political motives who failed in their efforts to tarnish the image of Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Kwankwaso, a former commissioner in Kano, argued that the protests were aimed at blaming Tinubu and Shettima for the nation’s current challenges, despite their efforts to improve the situation. He also warned governors against mismanaging the N570 billion allocated by the federal government, urging them to use the funds for youth and women’s employment in their states.
