Kwara State Polytechnic Denies Connection to Suspects in Club Owner’s Murder

Kwara State Polytechnic has disassociated itself from the suspects Adama Joseph and Oreoluwa Davies, who were paraded by the Nigeria Police for their involvement in the murder of club owner Adeniyi Ojo in Ilorin, Kwara State. In a statement released by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, the polytechnic denied that the suspects were its students.

The statement clarified that the suspects’ claim of attending Kwara State Polytechnic is untrue, baseless, and an attempt to tarnish the institution’s reputation. The management emphasized that its students are known to be good ambassadors of the polytechnic, the state, and Nigeria and would not be involved in such criminal acts.

The suspects, during their interrogation, had claimed they were students of Kwara State Polytechnic. However, the institution’s management has vehemently denied any connection with them, urging stakeholders and the media to verify information related to the polytechnic before circulation.
