A young lady has sparked online debate after revealing she turned down an international scholarship because her boyfriend refused to be in a long-distance relationship. According to her post on X (formerly Twitter), she made excuses at home, pretending she didn’t get the scholarship, just to stay close to him. However, barely a week later, she discovered he had cheated. Frustrated and disappointed, she wrote: “The bar is so low. I missed out on an international scholarship because he said he couldn’t do long distance. (He cheated on me a week after) 🙂↕️ I even lied at home, saying I didn’t get the scholarship. 😭💔”
