Lagos Police Condemn MTN Office Vandalism

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has denounced the vandalism of an MTN office in Festac Town. The incident occurred on Monday when enraged customers, whose SIM cards were deactivated due to issues with linking their National Identification Numbers (NIN), attacked the office at 72 Junction, Opposite First Bank, 23 Road.

Hundeyin, in a statement on X, criticized the violence, stating, “This should not be the way to go!” He commended the local police for their swift response, noting that the DPO FESTAC and his team restored order and are continuing to maintain peace in the area.
