Lagos State Announces Traffic Diversion Plan for Opebi Link Bridge Construction

The Lagos State Government has announced a traffic diversion plan for the reconstruction of Thomas Ajufo, inwards Sheraton Link Bridge axis. The traffic diversion will last for four weeks, beginning on October 16. This diversion is due to the ongoing construction of the Opebi Link Bridge.

During this period, motorists will have alternative routes available. Motorists heading towards Opebi Road will be allowed to use one side of the Opebi Road Carriageway, as the construction requires the closure of the second lane. Motorists heading towards Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way from Allen Avenue/Toyin Street will use Toyin Street via Ola Ayinde Street to connect Ikeja Under Bridge.

Motorists are advised to obey traffic signs and follow the directions of relevant traffic management authorities to ensure a continuous flow of traffic. This traffic diversion is part of the ongoing infrastructure development in Lagos State.
