Leicester City’s midfielder, Hamza Choudhury, is currently facing legal issues after being charged with drink-driving.
The incident occurred when police officers stopped a vehicle in Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, around 01:45 GMT on Friday. Choudhury was subsequently arrested on suspicion of refusing to provide a breath specimen.

The charges against him include driving while over the alcohol limit, driving without due care and attention, and failing to co-operate with a preliminary test.

The 26-year-old, residing in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire, has been released on unconditional bail, with a scheduled appearance before magistrates in Nottingham set for 23 February.

Despite these legal troubles, Choudhury participated in Leicester City‘s recent game against Ipswich on Monday. As the legal proceedings unfold, the club has chosen not to provide any comments on the matter at this time.
