Romelu Lukaku is keen on replacing Victor Osimhenat Napoli, despite interest from other clubs.
Chelsea’s Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku, has reportedly rejected a move to Aston Villa in favour of reuniting with his former Inter coach, Antonio Conte, at Napoli.

Although Chelsea agreed on a fee with Villa, Romelu’s preference to work with Conte again means his focus remains on a transfer to the Serie A champions.
Having spent two separate loan spells in Serie A with Inter and Roma, the former Everton player is not in Chelsea’s future plans. However, both Inter and Roma have opted not to pursue him, prompting the striker to seek a new club.

With Chelsea setting a €35 million asking price, Napoli has become Lukaku’s preferred destination.
Reports from Radio CRC and II Mattino in Italy reveal that Chelsea had agreed on a transfer fee with Aston Villa for Lukaku. However, the former Everton player blocked the move without even negotiating personal terms, as he is determined to rejoin Conte at Napoli.

Napoli faces a significant challenge in signing Lukaku without first selling their star stiker, Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian forward has a €120 million release clause in his contract, and while no club has met the price yet, Paris Saint-Germain is considered the front-runner for his signature. There is also a possibility that Chelsea could be involved in a deal for Osimhen, which could facilitate Romelu’s move to Napoli.

Napoli hopes that Chelsea will lower their demands for Lukaku, knowing that the striker is eager to join them. The former Serie A champions are confident that they can secure their desired target at a reduced price.
