BBNaija All Stars’ first runner-up, Mercy Eke, responded to reports suggesting that Kiddwaya and his girlfriend had broken up due to her actions.
To provide some context, Laura, the girlfriend of BBNaija reality star Kiddwaya, had unfollowed him on Instagram after he shared a kiss with Mercy Eke. This kiss occurred during their time in the Big Brother house in a private location not captured by the house’s CCTV cameras.
During an interview with Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke was asked about the rumors that her interactions with Kiddwaya had caused a strain in his relationship with his girlfriend outside the house. In response, Mercy Eke appeared surprised and claimed she hadn’t engaged in anything significant with Kiddwaya. She also denied kissing him and stated that it was merely a friendly peck on the cheek as a goodnight gesture.
“I didn’t do anything with Kiddwaya. I’m surprised by all this I am hearing. I gave him a goodbye or a goodnight peck on the cheeks that night. It wasn’t serious,” Mercy explained.
